The
Declaration on the Escalation of Tension by the United States of America
against Iran
Hands off Iran!
We,
the Party of Labour of Iran (Toufan),
strongly condemn the sanctions and aggressions against Iran and the Iranian
people. We strongly condemn any foreign intervention into the internal affairs
of Iran.
Another
unjust and undeclared U.S. war in the Middle East Region will have a
devastating consequence for the people of the region and for world peace. The
sanctions and wars in Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Syria have already
ruined these countries and have created harsh living conditions for the people
of the region.
The
U.S. imperialists try to impose their will on Iran. The American and European
imperialists together with their allies—Israel and Saudi Arabia—wish to set
Iran’s foreign policy and violate the rights of Iran to self-determination.
They try to force the Regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran to submit to the
dictates of the imperialist powers. The U.S. administration of Donald Trump
tries to expand and safeguard the political and economic interests of the
American monopolies throughout the Persian Gulf region.
The
propaganda by the American and European officials against Iran is all
fabricated lies. Iran has not violated the terms of Vienna Nuclear Deal, Joint
Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA). The imperialist
propaganda machine has tried to turn the truth upside down. The U.S
administration did not remove the economic, financial, banking, and commercial
sanctions against Iran, it did not fulfill its commitments as agreed to under
the Deal, and it unilaterally exited JCPOA.
Following these U.S. violations, the European countries, following their
own interest and under the pressure of the U.S. threats, started to shy away
from their obligations to JCPOA. It is
now more than a year since the U.S. withdrew from the Iran Nuclear Deal and
imposed new sanctions on Iran. In this situation, according the articles 26,
36, and 37 of JCPOA, Iran has the right to react and to cease performing its
commitments to JCPOA, in whole or in part.
The
imperialist invasion of the countries of the Middle East has terrorized the
population of the region and has caused tension and insecurity. The U.S.
provocations in the Persian Gulf Region are the acts of international
terrorism. The dozens of U.S. military
bases in the Middle East are additional sources of threats and provocation. The
imperialist powers should get out of the region and leave the people in peace
and security.
Any
political change in Iran is an internal matter. Only Iranian people, not
foreign powers, have the right to determine the political fate of Iran.
No Sanction on Iran !
